Talking- no one...i'm all alone :(

Thinking- my poor parents will be broke by the time i finally get back to school

Listening- my nifty little mix on winamp..."By The Way," Red Hot Chili Peppers

Wow. I am expensive. Oh wait, I already knew that. After work yesterday I went shopping with Mom and Carol. I bought a suit, a jean dress, some navy capris, two purses, a pair of shoes, and a pea coat from Old Navy. I think my mom ended up spending like $500 dollars on new clothes for me next year. I'll be wearing those clothes until I die at this point. Now, I would like to say that it does cost more to be fat and still be fashionable. I can't believe the kind of clothes they make for us larger gals. I mean, just because we have big hips doesn't mean we deserve to look dumpy. I'm guilty of doing this myself, but when you see a larger person at the mall you size up what they're wearing and most of time it's not very pretty or cute, but that's not their fault that most of the clothes made for larger people are just downright ugly. I refuse to look that way. Damn it, I may be fat but I think I deserve to look just as good as everyone else, because I feel just as good as they do.

Moving on to more spending, my dad bought me a laptop yesterday. He managed to get a brand new Toshiba laptop for $799, which is a lot less than we would have had to pay in the store. It kicks ass. I'm not working off of it yet since Laura is coming over Monday evening and setting me up with some cool stuff.

Today, to finish off all my shopping, my dad and I went price shopping on TVs and phones. I'm waiting until I get down to Macon to buy my TV and a bookcase, but I went ahead and got the phone. I managed to get a phone at Target for about $20 less than the exact same phone at Walmart. Most of the time you can get the same stuff cheaper at Walmart, but in this case Target was cheaper. I always go to Target for quality and Walmart for price, but for once there was a flip-flop between the two.

Well, now that I have officially run my parents into the poor house, I think I'll be taking at least a four month break from shopping. I think that was at least two Christmas's and Birthday's worth of stuff, but I'm okay with that. I won't be able to afford to pull out my credit card for a long time.

On a work note, I said I could work next Tuesday, but Chad obviously forgot and gave me that day off. My last day of work is Wednesday!
